" Excuse Me...I Want To Buy A Camera. "

on April 30, 2020
Well, Hearty Greetings. It is much of a coincidence. We are wishing to sell new camera. There will be merriment. Show money. " Before I do, my friend said that the camera they have is the best and I should get one of them. But not the one that is as good as the one they have because that would mean they have to go out and get a better one. " Your friend is remarkably honest... " And then another friend said that the first camera wasn't as good as the one they use. And they knew it because a man in America said so. On the internet. " The internet, eh? My day becomes so much happier... And then the internet said that the best new cameras have specifications. I want one with specifications. And a zoom. Zoom specifications. Which ones have zoom specifications? Show me..." Is it me, or is it hot in here? Let me take my tablet... " And I get a discount. On the discount. I know the owner. I know the owner's wife. I know the owner's wife's uncle. And it's May. And I saw discounts on the internet in Moldava. And..." Do you know where I live? No? Finally some good news...and the tablet is starting to kick in...Let us address the problem of your friends. They mean well, but it might not be towards you. They may be basing their judgement upon things that are told to them, or that they wish were so... much as you do. If they were honest with themselves they would come and try each camera in turn upon the same subject matter and then form a measured judgement. You have an opportunity to do this yourself. You may have researched upon the computer for some time and gained an idea of what you might wish. Now you must see the goods for yourself and handle them. You must make them work - or fail to do so, if that is to be the case. In some instances this is the more valuable experience. Not all cameras lend themselves to easy operation, and some may be wrong for you on that basis. Can you know quickly if the results are good for you? Perhaps - but if you try to base all your judgement on the little screen at the back of the camera you may be disappointed when the picture comes up on the big screen at home. Be smart - take test shots now and look at them at home - then make your judgement. A memory card can be a valuable research tool to purchase. We have many. Rush to judgement if you wish, but remember that this sort of behaviour has many folk-tales attached to it and none of them are cheerful. Better to look carefully and really educate yourself as you go. And the discount? A number. You will be far better off to spend the proper amount on the equipment that fulfils your needs than haggle yourself into discontent. Then even your friends will not help you out.
