That's Better! And Better Still To Come! Camera Electronic store upgrade.

on May 29, 2017
The back left-hand corner of the Stirling Street Shop has always had a stock of paper, chemicals. printers, and accessories but the structure of the building has never allowed it to be terribly neat. Well the staff at Camera Electronic have taken the bull by the horns, the bit between their teeth, and the hard road...and made it a thing of pride. Now there is space to show the Canon and Epson printers, the Ilford and Hahnemühle papers and the fresh film fridge to advantage. People can get to their Epson inks and V800 scanners without falling over things. They can see the EIZO monitors doing their colour magic in an elegant setting. Make no mistake - presentation is a real thing in marketing and it forms no less an influence on your mind as you sit down and use the products. Be neat and neat things happen. Be messy and you get something that looks like your lounge room rug on the 1st of January... And better things to come! The last of the vintage wooden cubby-hole shelving at the back of the Stirling Street store has given way to clean new white slat wall. The design wizards are figuring out how to display the studio and field lighting equipment logically on the new surface. It is all art-deco and Bauhaus now, but pretty soon it will be a wall of great lighting ideas. If you ever wanted to see the new Profoto and Elincrom equipment displayed to advantage, this will be the place. Note from the Little Studio. Don't limit yourself when it comes to studio lighting. Get the good stuff and learn what it does. It lasts forever, and means that you are actually in control of what you get. Here's a man who knew what he wanted and got what he wanted...
