Take It, Make It, Frame It - In Murray Street Camera Electronic

on May 30, 2017
The Camera Electronic shop in Murray Streetis not in deadly competition with the shop in Stirling Street. The staff do not draw lines in the sand, dance hakas, or throw hand grenades at staff meetings*. But they do have a distinct advantage over the older premises - they have the Fujifilm terminals and the Fujifilm Frontier printer - and they can make marvellous art for the photographers who visit the shop. It is as easy as...you drop into the place with your digital images on whatever you have - CF cards, SD cards, thumb drives, discs, or some of the older forms of storage. You plug into the Fujifilm terminal, and then follow the prompts. these ask you which images you want to print, what size, and what shape. They ask what cropping you would like, and any special instructions you want to put in. No, Fujifilm will not make you look like George Clooney, unless you are George Clooney. No, they will not give you Shirley Temple curls. Be reasonable, people... Once you have decided what and how, the machinery takes over. You go to the desk, get a printout of how much it will cost ( not a great deal ) and pay it. Then go about your business in the town as the staff do the machine work to print out your Fujicolor prints. Call back later , if it is a large order, and rest assured that what you put in is what comes out. Now, pictures in hand, you might like to consider how to present those images to your viewers. If they are good images you need not throw them and run - you can afford to make a better show of them. Murray Street has photo frames and photo albums galore. Note that this is a particularly good ploy for promotional pictures you may have taken for your own business clients - they can have an album that cements your business relationship as fast as your assistant can get the images to Murray Street. You. Look. Good. And one other thought: If you need to look good passing through the passport control points of the world, Camera Electronic can help. We maintain a passport photo system that can be adapted to the particular requirements of most governments - we even do passport shots that will qualify for the Greek government rules. They can be checked and certified for acceptance by the various bodies. Now that biometric analysis is becoming more common in international border control, you may want to consider a new passport shot that will let you breeze through the electronic machines rather than standing in long lines waiting for a jobsworth to decide whether you get into the country. *More's the pity. Tuesday morning staff meetings could be livelier. Okay, there'll be casualties, but you can't make eggs without breaking chickens... Click here to find out more about Camera Electronic.
