Look Left, Look Right, Look Out - with Promaster

We're not just a shop that sells cameras and lenses and memory cards. We're also a shop that sells binoculars and monoculars.

Whether you are watching the Whale Shark races at Ascot or cruising the Ningaloo Reef looking for thoroughbreds, you need a good set of eyes to see your sport. Promaster have introduced two good choices for you - the 8 x 42 and the 10 x 42 INFINITY binoculars.

These are well-built with O-ring seals and a special Repellamax coating to the lenses that mean atmospheric dust and water vapour never ruin your view. They carry a Lifetime No-fault warranty as well.

Of course they have a two-step eye cup for eyeglass wearers as well as bare eyes, and the diopter system and separate focussing mean you do not have to strain your eyes over long periods of viewing....like waiting for your Whale Shark to come in last...

Please note - the power of these differs - see the 8x or 10x designation - but both are also suitable for hunting wild birds. Be vewwy vewwy quiet...

If your binocular needs run to more elegance but a slightly smaller size, consider the 10 x 25 high definition pair. They collapse into themselves for a slim-line storage. Perfect for urban spying or the opera.

The last picture is a very neat accessory for the INFINITY binoculars - it is a tripod mount that screws into the front of the central axle on the binoculars and then goes down to a photographic tripod or other support. It means you do not have to hold the binoculars up for extended periods of time if you are looking for long-distance targets.

Those of our readers who may need to dismount their binoculars quickly - for instance if they need to dive suddenly to avoid Sunderlands or Liberators - should mount a quick-release plate on the bottom of the tripod mount. Cullmann make quite nice ones.
